It looks as if DigitalLith version 24 is very buggy. So before you leave through the door and give up on DigitalLith 24 let me explain: The bug fixed in 24.2 was there for a long time and the one fixed here I am not so sure. It is only happening in the German language version where selecting extra grain streaking makes the program crash – or at least the parameter panel no longer responsive. Note to self: Use the German language version more often – although it kind of hurts.
But in the end the bug got uncovered. Thanks to a user who uses streaking and was so patient to work with me on finding the root cause. Up to a week ago I was under the assumption that streaking and patterns are only used by Craig and me. Now we are at least three and the number of users of DigitalLith might slowly approach the number of … 10?
