Vaccicracy

Here in Germany, everything has to become a bureaucratic act. This was also the case with vaccination. Forms upon forms and chaos when it came to making appointments. Each federal state cooked its own soup.

And although it had been clear for a long time that vaccines would be available, the politicians were hit unprepared when they were actually available. Why are we only thinking about a vaccination card when almost half of the population has already been vaccinated? Lack of plan? Incompetence? Ignorance? At the beginning of the pandemic, we (or at least I) felt sorry for our politicians – they had to steer us through a the fog. But now, after more than one and a half year of lockdowns and openings and lockdowns … the fog is lifting. And it is becoming clear, fog or no fog: it is the blind who are steering us.
