This year I have a little project running which is to come up every month with a series of six images. That is to keep me going, but also to have a bit of a body of work after the year that I can show if there is someone asking about my photography. That also means, that I am going to print this images.
Here is the collection of the different series, one per month.
January – Out in the Fog
For January I selected a series of images done while being out in fog and drizzle while the rest of the family tried to work off the heavy lunch on the couch.
February – Bruchsal Palace Gardens
February I spent some time around Bruchsal Palace, one time I went there to take some images with my Holga, another time we were there together with friends. These images are from my visit with the Holga, although they are not done with the Holga but with my digital camera. It is in principle not a series of six images but three series of two images each. But have a look and you might get the idea.
March – Palatinate Forest
I visited Castle Gräfenstein next to the little village I was born, in the middle of Palatinate Forest. I wanted to take some images from the castle for the March series of sixes, but then decided that the image I took on my way up the castle are better suited for a series of six.
April – Spring Forest
Spring is coming, all fresh green in the forest, winter – the most interesting time in forest is gone.
May – Camera in Movement
These are just some sketches for a project I am on right now. I did them photographing out of a driving car with a pinhole mounted to my digital camera. Lots of spotting needed with this small aperture. Then sent them though DigitalLith.
June – The Greens Have It
This is a sub-series of a greater one which I tried in lith. Month of June has been nearly as if I do not own a camera.
July – Heidelberg With Toy Lens
I went to Heidelberg Bahnstadt with some friends for a toy lens outing. I used a handicraft lens made out of the front element of a disassembled zoom lens.
August – Panometer Leipzig
We spent the weekend in Leipzig and visited the Panometer to see the Yadegar Asisi Exhibition “Carolas Garden”.
September – Ship Museum Duarnenez
Six details found on an old ship.
October – Skater Corner
There is a nice place with some skater ramps which I found kind of interesting. Interesting enough to make a series of sixes done in digital lith.
