And then we arrived in Le Guilvinec a small seaport. Not as touristic as many other towns in Finistere. But that is what makes it so nice and interesting.
We had an apartment for seven nights and it was right at the coast as you can see in the first image below which I did from the big panoramic apartment window. This is at high tide without wind and knowing what comes in one of the next posts, it is not that spectacular.
We used the first evening to settle down and had a walk in the evening along the quay wall and the port.
The image above? Well, that had to be done. It is the lamp in the entrance hall of the house.
And as you can see in the images below we got ready for a week of gray and cloudy weather with heavy rain. At least that was the forecast. Not that weather predictions hold very long in this area.
