Had to get some fresh air in the evening the other day and spent some time out photographing in the town next to us with a friend. I was after some reflections in windows but then found what is less of a reflection but more of a pure shadow play – and liked it. The moment I saw the window it was very clear to me that I would do a digital lith of it and it was also clear how I am going to lith it. The settings I used will be part of the next case studies episode. So here you have a kind of a sneak preview of it.
Phoenix Coffee is a local coffee roaster. They have pretty good coffee.
Actually there was another nice shadow play in the window around the corner.
That evening I travelled light with just my little Fuji X100F – as almost always. And I thought I travel even lighter and put the camera into b&w mode (Acros with pushed shadows and pulled highlights) and forgot about raw files and developing them to b&w etc. I just took what the camera gave me and for me that was enough.
