In 2019 I would like to be out with my camera more often. And to push that a little bit I thought about some kind of project. A small project every month.
That means that in 2019 every month I try to come up with a series of six images. Those will be printed on A3+ and when the year ends I should have a nice pile of images which I then … most likely put aside, or make an album or whatever. At least I can show something when people ask about my photography.
So it will be a year of the print. No invest in gear, but in paper and ink. And books. Never forget about books.
Great! January already left me with three series of sixes. And I had to decide which one it is. But in the end, the one I like most is the most recent one about a walk in the fog. You can see the printed images above. And since all this is to get and keep me going grabbing my camera – there is the rare occasion where I show some of my gear. I did all the images above with the camera and the lens shown. Well except one of them where I had a 50mm lens mounted and not the shown 35mm. This is a big exception from my usual way of photographing where I restrict myself to just one focal length in a series. This time I went out and thought that the 50mm would be it to capture the fog (since it compresses a bit more than the 35mm or 23mm I also have). But this time I was a bit uncertain and right so since the fog was so dense, that the 35mm was just the better choice.

Can you spot the one done with the 50mm lens?
