While bringing in content from the old site I also went back into the archives and digged out some of the very first ever Digital Lith developments. I do not even know if I still have the sources of this version of the program somewhere, but I doubt.
These developments where done in 2013. Yes, last year was the 5th anniversary of Digital Lith and I did not celebrate it. Well that is because I do not know exactly when I started the journey. Back then I never thought that I might get to where I am today with the program.
My dear friend Craig who got tortured a lot with these first images might remember back to these early days. He contributed a lot into this project as a constant flow of ideas and inspiration. I remember back many conversations on the phone which went like:
C: How about you add ….
R: No, that is too complicated, I will not do that.
Then a week later …
R: I have a new version of the program, did I mention that I added …
Enjoy these early images. See all the shortcomings, as for example highlights were totally uncontrolled, coloring was … well, let’s not talk about coloring at that point. It then took some time until I switched the gear and went to a more user friendly non-command-line-driven approach.
